TEMAC: ENVIRONMENTAL SLITTER

03/09/2010

ECONOMY AND ECOLOGY
Temac is launching its new line of Ecosystemac brand slitter-rewinders, that ensure the user great advantages in terms of efficiency and eco-sustainability. With important savings it time and money.

Environmental slitter
Ecosystemac is the latest line of slitter rewinders produced by Temac (Lonate Pozzolo, VA) responding to demands for an eco-sustainable design. It translates on an environmental level the ethics of responsibility that features in the job of the Varese based company, and includes several machine models, all offering energy saving and maximum yield.
The proposal has been well-received by the market, also in commercial terms, bearing witness to the set orientation of the users towards a “green” offer. The flagship of the Ecosystemac line is called TTS 180 and has been recently adopted by the Cesena based Netpack SpA (Sorma group) that makes packaging for market garden products and that appreciates the machine for its high reliability and capacity to adapt to different materials and ways of working (plastic films, laminates, coextruded materials, paper and aluminium).
TTS 180 is a twin turret machine. Like the others of the same series, in all the working phases it runs on specific software that, combined with other characteristics of the line, drastically reduces downtimes, improves performance and yield and ensures a constant reliability, versatility and an easy use even for inexpert users.

Technical details
The TTS 180 slitter rewinder has an independent shaftless unwinding carriage, with underfoot board or top-web path for mother reels of 1000, 1200 and 1500 mm; the unwinding group is complete with splice table including vacuum system. The machine has two rewinding stations each one endowed with two full width clutched rewinding shafts with hydraulic lock and unlock system able to work with cores having a minimum work width of 20 mm.
Other qualifying elements: particularly sturdy and solid mechanical structures; top quality electronic control; full digital close flux vector A.C. inverters manage the push-out system of finished rolls (max diameter 820 mm).; motorised and robotised mechanical shaft support; max work speed of 800 m/min; computerised control of material tension; PLC with operator control panel with LCD touch screen display and Ethernet interface for tele-assistance.

The ethical concern
Founded by associates with forty years of experience in the field, Temac can boast a cutting-edge know-how which has sustained its success on the slitter rewinder and relative accessory market and, more generally, in tailor made converting machines.
A clear attribution of tasks and close cooperation among the different departments (design, production, administration and sales) ensure the solidity of future regarding the Varese based company and, above all, its customer oriented approach.
The company’s strategic choices like Temac’s daily operation are guided by ethic reasons, involving all the company staff, starting from General Manager Massimo Cerliani. It is that feeling of shared responsibility that stimulates that “doing one’s best while working well” approach with the tendency to continuous improvements, which is translated into seamless solidity. In terms of service, this leads to a specific consideration of the customer demands and consequently, to customize the machines in order to target specific yields in quality production, an easy use and a system reliability, also ensured by the Temac post customer sales service.
